Not just the world trekking capitol.

This small town of Patagonia, the youngest in Argentina, is located in one of the privileged enclaves of  Los Glaciares Natural Park, at the foot of the Cerro Chalten (Fitz Roy) and La Torre mountains.
It is surrounded by the rivers Fitz Roy and Las Vueltas, which make it a unique enclave for water sports adventures.

The harmonious coexistence of its inhabitants with nature is unique in the world. And its surroundings really deserve a walk, or a trekk. It is known as the Trekking Capital of the country and some people say, the world, for a reason. But El Chalten is much more. It is worth discovering.
